The Firecrackers are a performance jump rope team made up of very talented young ladies in grade 4th - 8th. They are located in Ohio in the Kings local school district. They are coached by Lynn Kelley and perform all across the country. It is said that this team grew from an elementary physical education class. The coach Lynn was looking for an activity that was rhythmatic and could be choreographed to music. She grabbed some jump ropes and some interested students and good music. They practiced and became pretty good and the response to the activity was positive so they were asked to perform at the varsity basketball game. The feedback was so overwhelmed with positive feedback that they were asked to perform at more high school games which lead to college basketball games and eventually the NBA.
